M-VIBES 3RD EDITION-!!! Another vibrant edition of M-VIBES, absolutely fabulous show took place on Sunday August 26, 2012 @ the prestigious Monty Suites Hotel, in the very exclusive Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo. Hosted by MD/Publisher of thrills and thrives-Iquo Ebong Okon and the popular Master of Ceremony, President of De Creed Entertainment-David ‘p Harmony’ Enyedok, the captivating experience was well attended by fast rising music artistes, business executives, individuals from the corporate world as well as prominent government officials. The CEO of Audio Factory said the opening prayer, after which Great Evidence: the Nsit Attai born R ‘n’ B music artiste, who has been singing from his primary school days, got into the main business of the night. N.E.J: The 3-man Gospel Recording Band, currently recording their video under ‘SPLASH HILL’ ENTERTAINMENT’ and whose Hit Single ‘IYO’ Video comes out next month gave us a thrill. M.C Mbakara-The versatile Publisher, Model, Dancer, and Singer showed us what stuff he is made of. Simon Groove also made a sensational outing. Atomic Bomb- The gifted comedian performed again by popular demand and had everyone rocking with laughter. DJ Spin Off sparked off an energetic and fascinating Dancing competition between the female ‘Hip Hop Artiste-Envy and Miss Bright and the latter eventually won a contract to perform at the upcoming ‘Monty Funfest’ to commemorate Akwa Ibom Sate Silver Jubilee. Her cheque courtesy of ‘Monty Suites Group’ will be ready for pick up the next day. I-MA: The delectable married lady from Onna Local Government Area, Inspirational Gospel Artiste, Singer, Song Writer, currently working on her album and video, who delights in blending the hearts of people with God’s Word through lively rhythms and beats, has performed in churches and wedding ceremonies, shook the building to its very foundation with her hit single ‘Better’ which has been airing on ‘Inspiration FM-92.3 Lagos’, ‘Wazobia FM Lagos’ and ‘Atlantic FM Uyo’. Watch out for another scintillating performance by her at the ‘Monty Funfest’ come September 21st, 2012. Jimmy D Young-another talented Comedian gave us a taste of his own act. Skelly Beat- Performing Artiste, Presenter and Producer of inspiring artistes: Simon Groove, I-ma and the famous track ‘Akwa Ibom Girl’ took the night’s performance to another level. SAGAS-2nd Runner Up in ‘THE UNDERGROUND’ Event for upcoming Artistes in Lagos performed his Mix Tape titled ‘F.A.K.E’ meaning FLOW AND KILL EVERYTHING. He was on hand once again dropping one absolutely hilarious joke after another. Etighi Ambassadors-Did a cocktail of salsa, hip hop and etighi dance routines. Adasa-the sensuous female artiste rocked the show to a standstill making the audience scream for more as the occasion eventually grounded to a close. M-VIBES: THE AKWA IBOM STATE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY NIGHT has so far achieved its main aim: projecting Akwa Ibom State artistes to the rest of the world and promoting the entertainment industry in this State. 20 artistes have been signed up by ‘Monty Suites Group’ to perform at the ‘Monty Funfest’ to celebrate Akwa Ibom State 25th Anniversary. Who knows how many more will be signed up by recording studios nation-wide and globally?
